Condition as seen a bit rough. Enlisted on 8/20/1861 as a Captain. On 8/20/1861 he was commissioned into "H" Co. He was Mustered Out on 9/9/1864. Wounded 5/31/1862 Fair Oaks, VA. Wounded 6/3/1864 Cold Harbor, VA. Lt Colonel 6/7/1864 (Not Mustered).
