Original Authentic Civil War Confederate Belt Buckle Plate CSA Gettysburg RARE

  
This info which follows is from the prior owner of this quality item. This buckle was recovered after the battle of Gettysburg ended, it was recovered by a Union soldier after the confederate retreat who then took it back home to New York. This buckle was traced back to an Army of Northern Virginia soldier who was killed at the battle. This has not been restored in ANY way. It is in the same condition it has been for over 150+ years! Truly original and a real ONE OF A KIND piece!! It would be absolutely impossible to upgrade on this. This is literally a museum piece. If you go to Gettysburg and you go to the museum, you will see one of these on display. This is your once in a lifetime chance to get a true museum piece!

This is the real deal with history! This was part of his fathers civil war collection. He was a HUGE Civil War historian and taught at several universities.

Please see the pictures for condition and details. The son had this looked at by the Confederate Relic Room in Columbia South Carolina! They asked if he wanted to donate it. This was one of his absolute most prized possessions. He had it on the mantle in his living room with a light on it. NOTE the display case is not included. I was going to add it to my collection.
